Whenever I fail (whether it is my fault or it has been dictated my circumstances) I always keep my head up and use the deception as a motivation to bounce back and the outcome is better than if I succeeded on the first attempt.
What an inspirational video, Jay! The last line sums it up nicely: "If you've never failed, you've never lived." Failure is a challenge to succeed, no matter how many attempts it takes. Besides, if something is too easy--is it really worth it? -JMM
Honestly, I feel deep regret and get depressed on failure. Even when its a small failure, it upsets me for quite a while. When its a bigger matter, it takes me down for several weeks or even months. Finally, I dig myself out and come back - bit stronger - and thats the positive part for me.
Thanks for the comment. Knowing that setbacks hit you hard is a great step in developing new approaches to deal with them so your time to get back on your feet can lessen over time. Many thanks for sharing your own experiences on this issue.
I share and use my failures so that I and others might learn from them.
ReplyDeleteGreat strategy Doug...
